Harris Teeter's "Together in Education" Program

Picture
Each time you shop for groceries, a percentage of your Harris Teeter brand purchases will be credited back to Windermere.  It won't interfere with your VIC card savings or cost you any money.  Next time you check out at any Harris Teeter in Wilmington, tell the cashier that you would like to link your VIC card to Windermere Presbyterian Preschool with the number 8112 and you can help to raise money for our school!

One Way Out

Picture
This year Windermere Preschool has decided to support a project that will help the children in a small village in Kenya, Africa.  We will bring donations of money to send to them through "One Way Out", a non-profit organization that sends funds to the village of Dago.  Sixty five dollars will support one child for a year and our donations are tax deductible.  There will be a container in the hall for our donations, and the children will decorate small containers as well.

One Way Out's  mission is to provide educational opportunities to orphaned and vulnerable children in rural Kenya through educational sponsorships and the support of community, non-governmental schools.

Windermere Preschool Giving Tree

Picture
Windermere Preschool's donation program is called The Giving Tree.  This tree serves as a wish list for the preschool.  Staff members put donation requests on apples, leaves, snow-flakes - or whatever fits the season - and place them on the tree.  Families are not required to donate, but can do so whenever they wish to.  If you would like to make a donation, pull the request(s) off the tree and return them with your donation to any staff member or the preschool office.  Item requests will also be updated and posted online (CLICK HERE).
Please continue to check the Giving Tree throughout the year as new items will be added whenever they are needed by staff.
From all of us at Windermere Preschool, Thank you for your kindness!
